This air conditioner, otherwise known as a "Chiller", effectively cools a local shopping mall of well over 300,000 square feet. This translates into over 5 million cubic feet of air that needs to be cooled!
During the summer months our air conditioners work double time removing unwanted heat and moisture from our homes to keep them comfortable. When a home owner notices excessive amounts of water being displaced, or water coming from a drain pipe it doesn't usually drain from, it could be a sign of trouble! Another signal of your unit needing attention could be algae growing around the drain, summer heat and excessive water flow create the perfect conditions for such vegetative growth.
Trouble with an air conditioners heating functions often translates into a wiring problem. All it takes is for one wire to become inadequately connected and the entire heating function can be lost. Here is a video of one of our technicians assessing wiring en route to fixing the problem.
